I've bought an Arduino starter kit and gone through the book's tutorials. I have a very basic understanding but still can't just read Arduino code or sit and write from memory. Everything is very slow going, but I have several ideas for devices I want to make. The first of my ideas is a mechanical keyboard hacked to include capacitive touch for each key. There are keyboards out there which have this functionality, but as far as I can tell they aren't consumer products or priced for consumers. I lived overseas for most of the last decade and am suddenly in a situation where most of my email is now going to a non-Japanese cell (stock droid 3) and I find myself being unable to answer my emails in Japanese. For a while I would just wait until I got to pc to answer, but that has gotten annoying so I figure I might as well ask some smart redditors for help.

An onscreen keyboard solution is fine but it would also be great to have a solution with my hardware keyboard. I am sure there are fr. I bought this device about a month ago, and I have loved it so much, and found it to be so utterly unique, that I feel it is worth sharing with the community. This is not intended to be an add spot for GPD. Rather this is my experience using the handheld, what worked well for me, and how I think it compares with other handheld emulation devices.
