Wii Multi Mod Manager 13.4 Download
Im softmodding my sisters wii for christmas and ive used the 4.2 rar files i found on this website and im almost done. I get to the screen with the custom ios installer and i select do not reinstall ios and then start homebrew channel and go to wad mananger v1.5 and then when i push the a button the remote quits working. I have seen where the buttons on the wii should work and also a gamecube controller but i have tried both with no luck. Anything you could do to help me would be great cuz christmas is right around the corner and i would like to get this done for her.
Am having the same proble wad manager, csios installer, geogamma, all not working do tihis in DOP-MII a) Load and Homebrew Channel and run DOP-Mii, on the IOS Selection Screen, select 'Install An iOS w/ fakesign' by pressing down on the d-pad then A on the wiimote. You should now be in the trucha bug restorer portion of DOP-Mii. Load IOS36 and select Downgrade IOS15.
Each time it asks, select 'Download from NUS' Make sure you get no errors. If Loading IOS36 doesn't work for this step, press B for no IOS reload when asked to load IOS. Although It should do these steps almost automatically, I'll just include the info. B) In the fakesign installation, once iOS15 is downgraded, it should begin patching iOS36. Make sure to install the patched IOS36 with all these patches selected (Just Say Yes to All of the ones that come up) Install IOS to slot (36) Hash Check (trucha) Yes ESIdentify Yes NAND Permissions Yes Then Press A on Install Patched IOS36. Again, everytime it asks, choose 'Download from NUS' c) On the same fakesign installation. Load IOS36 and select Restore IOS15.
Each time it asks, select 'Download from NUS' Once done, a)Re-run Homebrew Channel and Load DOP-Mii again. Choose the first option by pressing A (iOS:36), You should now be taken to a menu with three options: iOS, BC, mIOS. Select iOS by pressing A. Go to iOS249. Under currently installed, you should unisntall then go back to homebrew channel then reinstall whatever cios rev 17 or whatever ur using then run wad manager again. This was post by smoggie on a thread about 4.2 softmodding (this is the software I used for a 4.2, dont know if it has already been posted. Really easy to follow and only takes 15 mins ) Attached Files((11.18 MB, 6 views) I tried this and now I can't use the wii unless the sd card is in and even then its only for Part 2 or Part 3 that it works.
